Seems a long winter this time around but I guess every cloud has a silver lining should we be bothered to seek it. So on to the latest cold snap and dump of snow with all its associated business. We actually saw along our little lane this morning a snow plough. Better late than never but where it was during the last couple of sessions nobody knows. It did however wait untill I had scraped and swept a large portion of the hill before sweeping past in a flurry of noise and jollity as the driver waved happy in the knowlege that I had just wasted my time, and on down the hill past the stable where Ginger nearly trampled the princess in fright at the racket.
As for the rest of the beautiful sunny winter morning, well we took to the slope and rattled down on our boards as many times as we could be bothered to trudge back up to the top again. We even had a downhill race or two. Whilst not quite on par with
Chamonix Mont-Blanc, it was pretty good fun except perhaps for Muddy dog, who did get slightly run over but is showing no sign of adverse affects.
